Another problem

I have finally completed the hardest effect in my 2 minute movie, the Time Freeze Effect. However my success was cut short as when piecing my film together i realised that a scene that i did not re shoot looks completely different in context to natural light and the artificial light in the underpass. My teacher suggested some sort of colour correction for the scene, however i will have to carry this out next week as the after effects on my computer crashed!

Time freeze finished! or not.

Today in class, after many re shoots and stressful editing, i have finally finished the time freeze effect for my film. However shortly after completing the scene my teacher advised me to redo one of the masks for the scene as when the killer freezes it looks like it could be a natural position. The effect will hopefully be wrapped up by tomorrow and all that will be left to do is combine the two half's of the film and fully render it!

Final Scene for Editing

Today i returned to school from the Christmas holidays and added the gunshot and blood splatter to both clips and started to merge both clips ready to be completed tomorrow.

Filming Complete

I have completed all the filming for my 2 minute opening film. Today i filmed the underpass scene which was quite a challenge due to the number of cars driving through the underpass and also the weather wasn't great. However now i can start editing the second half of my film from home computer on Sony Vegas Pro so that i am ready to do the time freeze effect at school.

Gunshot Practice (Sound & Muzzle Flash)

Here is a video of a practice gunshot i did and added the muzzle flash and used the sound effects on SoundtrackPro to create the effect that i will use in my film.

Progression

During the last week and weekend i have:

• Made a final decision on the copyright free music i will be using in my film.
• Set this upcoming Saturday as the final filming day for me and my actors.
• Fully edited and rendered the complete second half of my film. (Beach & Graveyard Scene)
• Fully planned and learnt all effects and camera shots i will be using for the next part of the film.

Hopefully, after the upcoming weekend i will have filmed and edited all of the Underpass scene and i will be ready to add the final effect to my film, the time freeze effect.
